For seven seasons, Teryl Rothery was the beloved Dr. Janet Fraiser on Stargate SG-1. Serving on Stargate Command as Chief Medical Officer. The series ran from 1997 - 2007.

Teryl and I never did cross paths while in radio, but did a few times later on those occasions when we would both be on the Stargate set at Bridge Studios. We would share a few memories of the characters we both knew from Vancouver radio and have a few laughs over some of the stories. Doctor Janet rarely if ever appeared out of the studio environment and I would miss her whenever I would be called to one of those “off-world” Stargate locations - usually in a wet rain forest an hour’s drive out of the city, up a mountain at 7am
