n 1989, CISQ-FM Squamish and its repeaters were sold to Selkirk Communications, who resold them to Rogers later that same year. The station had launched on November 30, 1981. The first two repeaters, in Whistler and Pemberton, signed on the next year. Today, there are also repeaters in Gibsons, Sechelt, Pender Harbour and Egmont.

In 1996, CFGP Grande Prairie was approved for an AM to FM flip. O.K. Radio had the FM on the air on June 20th as Sun-FM, with 70,000 watts on 97.7 MHz. Repeaters in Peace River (1997) and Tumbler Ridge (2004) were added. CFGP-AM had been on 1050 KHz since 1946, originally signing on to 1200 KHz with 100 watts in 1937. Rogers owns the station today.

In 2009, Terry Reid and Tara McGuire did their last morning show on CHQM-FM in Vancouver. Terry had arrived in 1993, and was joined by Tara in 1996.
