Listening to this version and Paul Nicholas there is no comparison. The Mighty Pope take on this song is so much better, more soul, better production, even the enunciation of the lyrics all superior. This song deserves some airplay on gold stations today. Haven't heard it in decades, but back in 1977 it was all over the radio.
