Thanks to Bo Jingles for preparing and sharing these!
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

We had this "you" package at CKPR in Thunder Bay as well. Not bad jingles for the time, but the longer versions which are featured here were never used on air at CKPR. The regular short jingles were effective.

We did use the long jingles at special events or on location at a trade show for station image. Also one of our TV ads featured one of the long versions. I think TM got the idea for the you package from a popular McDonald's campaign that was out earlier on radio and TV. "At McDonald's We Do it All For You.."

Thanks albertaboy4life, I remember we received our "you" package fall of 1977. A big improvement to our previous jingles. Our package also included the classic mid tempo string and horn id that CFUN, CHUM, CKLW and KFRC used for many years. It wasn't part of the "you"package but was included in what we received. I think our p.d. struck a deal with TM to include it.
