Radio Sticker Of The Day - October 9

Postby radiofan » Tue Oct 08, 2019 9:21 pm

From the RadioWest.ca archives and my collection of 20,000+ window and bumper stickers from radio stations around the world, a daily look back featuring stickers from stations across Canada that no longer exist due to a call letter or frequency change, rebranding or a move from AM to FM.

A late 1990's sticker from Ottawa's CKKL 93.9, KOOL FM. In 2003 the station became BOB FM. In 2014, CKKL flipped to Country as New Country 94. Earlier this year it was rebranded as Pure Country 94.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

This would be from launch in 1992. The moose didn't last as part of the logo for very long.
