Before his days as a leading radio programmer and manager (CITI Winnipeg, CFNY Toronto, CISS Toronto, CHML Hamilton, CHEZ Ottawa, CILQ Toronto), Danny Kingsbury was Danny Kaye on Edmonton's 630 CHED.

Danny got his start at 1080 CKSA Lloydminster on the recommendation of his good friend, Bruce Hammond ("Jungle" Jay Hamilton). Next stop was Moffat Communications' 800 CHAB Moose Jaw. He would later move to 630 CHED Edmonton before leaving in 1985 to take his first programming assignment at 92.1 CITI Winnipeg.
