There’s a local, long time, Seattle jazz host on NPR (Dick Stein) who has a years long tradition of opening his 9am weekday show each Friday with one of the many versions of the song Janine.
Of course, his choices and offerings are of the jazz standard of the tune, not this one.
Not one of Trooper’s more recognizeable hits but a good one, with thoughtful lyrics and under-rated.
"You don't know man! I was in radio man! I've seen things you wouldn't believe!"
