Can-Con 45 Of The Day - November 7

Today's Can-Con 45 is from 1972 ... from his Harvest LP, Neil Young and "Heart Of Gold" ...

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

One of the few times that Neil sang completely in key and with no pitchiness. Not surprisingly, Heart Of Gold was a career-defining chart topper.

Neil explained his subsequent grittier and less-than-perfectly-sung albums as being motivated by a desire to "head for the ditch" after succeeding in "the middle of the road."
