If December is pulled from the results, I'd say CBU is a solid number one.

CKNW has hit a new all time low. The number 3 in all persons actually looks good. In any demo under 60, they're more likely a solid 14 or 15.

Looks like it's time for The Fox to find a new format. Pretty embarassing for a heritage station to get whooped by Sonic, The Peak and CBC Radio 2.

New Cap will have it's work cut out for them once the sale is approved. Within hours of the approval, the Virgin name will move to 94.5, so there will be a relaunch of 95.3 along
with a relaunch of some sort for 104.3. Then there's CISL. Shut it down or sell it to some bible thumpers or ethnic group. It looks like Dan Russell's imaginary pack of followers
didn't make the move to 650.

CISL is actually up if you compare them to the same ratings period from a year ago. NW is down 20%. The Beat and JR are even. WX is down 10% and JACK is up 10%. The current ratings show very little movement in the market from a year ago with the exception of NW which is in a free fall and Virgin which has lost substantial ground.

Is anybody surprised by another big drop for CKNW?

Will Vancouver be the next city for a Corus "Fresh FM"?

Didn't they register 993freshfm.com about a year ago?

NW continues its slide.. and WX adds a commercial break after 2 minutes of news and lose some ground. No surprises here.

The Peak had some nice gains, though it's all a little late for Cory and Laurie.

I also see that the Bro Jake morning show on Team 1040 is now beating the CKNW morning show 18-54 adults. That must be the first time NW has lost to the Team in the morning.

Meanwhile in the afternoon on CKNW, "dismal" is the only way to describe it. They go from a 4.5 share to a 3.4 (adults 18-54).
