Too bad this song didn't become a major hit. The Queen didn't receive the airplay it deserved and could have been a top ten song back in 1976. Save Me another single from this album also didn't receive any airplay but was heard in clubs. Even though English is Nanette Workman's first language, she was a popular artist singing in French throughout Quebec. The french version of The Queen was a hit song in Quebec. Nanette lived for a time in England and sang back up for the Rolling Stones on Honky Talk Woman.
