One Time For Old Times reached #25 on Billboard. Previous single Back Where You Belong peaked at #20 and was also written by Gary O’Connor.

Southern rockers 38 Special maintained a Canadian connection. First with A & M labelmate Bryan Adams and his collaborator Jim Vallance. The pair provided Teacher Teacher. Then Vallance began working with 38 Special members. Early collaboration Like No Other Night became the band’s third biggest hit, reaching #14. Other Vallance/group charters included Soebody Like You and Back To Paradise.
