Today's Can-Con 45 is from 1967 and was probably the first ever cover of a Pink Floyd tune ... Vacouver's Three To One and "See Emily Play" from the CTV After Four various artist LP ...

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Three To One was the ratio of men to women. Three guys. And one lady.

Drummer Claudette Skrypnyk had been the percussionist in The Shadracks. Like that Okanagan-origined band, Three To One had a contract with Arc Records. The quartet also featured Brian Russell, the former guitarist for The Classics. A CBC-tv house band, The Classics issued several singles in Canada and the U.S. Some members, not including Russell, later helped form The Collectors.

Three To One later moved to Toronto. And switched names to Raja.
