Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Fun fact. Virginia was written by Bruce Miller. Earlier in the '70s, the restless American put down stakes in Vancouver and was soon part of the burgeoning indie-country scene. Signed to A & M, his first solo single Anna Marie didn't do much...but was subsequently covered by Susan Jacks.

Bruce later cut the Rude Awakening album co-produced by David Foster and Gaye Delorme. The title track was a modest Canadian hit. Bruce then returned to the US and gained songwriter cred with songs for Prism, Pure Prairie League and, in later years, big names like Reba McEntire.
