In 1921, CHCB Toronto broadcast the federal election results in co-operation with The Toronto Daily Star. There is no record of any broadcast by the Marconi-owned station after May 15, 1922. The station had been broadcasting on 1200 metres with 500 watts. That translates to 250 KHz, well below today's AM Broadcast Band.

In 1946, CHAB Moose Jaw moved to 800 KHz, its present home. Power was increased to 5000 watts. The station had been on 1220 KHz with 1000 watts since the Great Frequency Shuffle of 1941.
