Vintage Radio Repairs

First of all please excuse this entry 's sloppy presentation...I am using an Apple computer and it is quite foreign to me... So this is a pick and poke post.

My son;s lady friend has a Victor radio from the 30's or 40's. This radio stands on the floor. What we are looking for is information about any one on the Lower Mainland who might be able to restore this unit to working order. The radio is the important factor, the cabinet could be sanded and finished by a family member, Can any body help? Thank you T S

Have you tried contacting the SPARC Radio Museum in Coquitlam?

Thanks for the hints. I was aware of both items but I had a "brain freeze" for a bit... I'll pass the invormation on to our son.
