CKBG's Marty Adler Passes Away

I was surprised and shocked to find out that Marty Adler passed away. Marty was a big supporter and contributor to the original CRN Facebook page while getting his "retirement project" low powered CKBG 107.9 (THE BURG) in Amherstburg on the air. Marty asked for help launching the station and some old "radio vets" in the Windsor area who read the site came to the rescue. The station hit the air in July 2023. Sounds like Marty was battling cancer the whole time, but kept it to himself. CANCER SUCKS! R.I.P. Marty.
