Recorded at 1140 CKXL Radio for the 1979 CFL Playoffs Western Semi-final which saw the Calgary Stampeders take on the BC Lions, it's Willie and The Blue Notes with the Calgary Stampeders' Born To Beat The Lions 1979 Playoff Song -

Featuring Stampeders' players: Willie Burden, Terry Irvin, and Ed McAleney.

We thank "pastayoyo" for posting the song on YouTube.

The Stampeders thumped the Lions 37 - 2 only to go on to lose to the Edmonton Eskimos in the Western Final, 19 - 7.

Is that "Gentleman" Jim Jackson at the end of the song?
