I cannot believe that it is merely a coincidence that the last three ratings periods align with the best Season that the Edmonton Oilers have had in a very long time.

And a full three point jump in overall ratings for CHED on a year-to-year basis.

David Bray looks at different numbers:

Edmonton: 102.3 NOW Radio rules the roost for A12+ posting a 10.5% share of hours tuned (up from 10.4%). NOW! Radio takes top spot for F25-54, delivering a 19.0% share (down from 20.1%). NOW also tops the list for M25-54 with a 12.0% share (up from 11.5%). For M18-34, Sonic leads the way posting a 15.9%. For F18-34 NOW! delivered a 21.6%.

The following is CHED/102.3 NOW Radio for each demo he lists:

• A12+ 10.0/10.5
• W25-54 4.2/19.0
• M25-54 9.8/12.0
