CBC TV Regina's Del Fehrenbach passes away

FEHRENBACH _ Del, beloved husband of Theresa Fehrenbach, caring father of Shawn (Amanda) Fehrenbach, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2007 at the Palliative Care Unit of the Pasqua Hospital, at the age of 68. Del is lovingly remembered by his sister, Gwen (Jerry) Salamon and his brother, Howie (Jackie) Fehrenbach and numerous other family members. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Jeanette Fehrenbach of Fort Qu'appelle. For most of Del's professional life he was employed with CBC Television. He continued to be involved with the CBC long after his retirement, helping with the Pensioner's Association. Del had a love for music and hymns and sang regularly in the church choir and for the Serenaders. Prayers will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2007 with Funeral Mass to be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 27, 2007, both from Holy Family R.C. Parish, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. N., Regina, SK with Fr. Brad Fahlman as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to either the Regina Palliative Care Inc. (www.rpci.org) or the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) in memory of Del Fehrenbach. Paragon Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements.
