Vista Radio has entered into an agreement to purchase CAB-K Broadcasting in Olds and Vegreville, Alberta. Stations included in the deal are Country 96.5 (CKLJ), Rock 104.5 (CKJX) in Olds and Country 106.5 (CKVG) in Vegreville. No financial details were released at this time and it is unknown if Vista will make programming changes at any of the stations.

Approval came down today for the Vista Radio takeover of the CAB-K stations; Country 96.5 (CKLJ), Rock 104.5 (CKJX) in Olds and Country 106.5 (CKVG) in Vegreville. Total purchase price is $1,717,758.00.



Administrative CAB-K Broadcasting Ltd. 2023-0441-8 Approved - Application for the purchase of the issued and outstanding common shares of CAB-K Broadcasting Ltd. (CAB-K) by Vista Radio Ltd (Vista). Vista is a privately owned Canadian entity controlled by Westerkirk Capital Corp. a wholly owned subsidiary of SEB Investments Ltd., which is majority held by the Thomson Investments Ltd. CAB-K will be effectively controlled by Westerkirk Capital Corp.
