Good morning,

Today, we are pumped to introduce Calgarians to STAR959, a brighter and more upbeat sound for our listeners. This morning STAR959 launched its new morning show – Breakfast with Billie Jo and Candice with Producer Will. Airing each weekday from 5:30am to 9am, Billie Jo Ross and Candice Kaye will bring new energy and fun to Calgary mornings.

“It’s just going to be friends, sharing stories, laughing, hanging out and not worrying about life. I’m ecstatic to share this ride with Candice! Women supporting women. And we’re really happy to have Producer Will who’s been a wonderful support. Get ready for us Calgary!” says Billie Jo.

“It’s an absolute dream come true to work with Billie Jo. We’ve known each other for years and are so excited to break the mold with a female-led morning show. Finally! We just want to make you smile,” said Candice Kaye, co-host of Breakfast with Billie Jo and Candice with Producer Will.

On STAR959, listeners will still be able to sing along to their familiar songs, with an amazing playlist that will put everyone in a happier mood.

Rounding out the day, we also welcome Heather Backman to host weekday afternoons from 2p to 7p, and our friend Ian MacKinnon can now be heard weekdays from 9a to 2p.
