"Coffee with Corrigall" was a Calgary tradition regardless of if it was at CFAC, CFCN or CKXL Radio. After returning to CFAC in late 1968, after four years at CKXL which moved to a top 40 format, Ned hosted 960's morning show for about 20 years. He had left CFAC in 1963/4 as that station moved into the top 40 format joining CKXL which at the time was delivering the "quality sound" just as CHQR was about to launch. Ned had stints prior to that switching between CFAC and CFCN Radio and ran as a Conservative candidate in the 1963 Alberta provincial election.
Born in Dodsland, Saskatchewan Ned died at his Calgary home in early November 1990. He had a 44 year career in radio which started in Saskatoon with CFQC and included stops in Regina, Red Deer at CKRD where he did a lot of sports broadcasts, Hamilton and Trinidad. Ned came to Calgary in 1954 retiring from CFAC Radio in 1989.
