RadioWest congratulates Rock 101's Dean Hill on his 47 year career and retirement! viewtopic.php?p=12863536#p12863536

Here's Dean, the first time around at Vancouver's CFMI - https://soundcloud.com/westernbroadcast ... may-7-1984

Ramona Mar has the news and Pam Newton reports on traffic on FM One's drive home show on a Monday afternoon in early May 1984. Ellie O'Day is also heard briefly.

All the best, Dean! :occasion7:

I believe this was Dean's first show at CFMI where he took over from Bob Boving who was headed off to Toronto and the CBC.

Worked with Dean at CFMI in the 1990's ... total class guy! Have a great retirement Dean!
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Ah the great Bob Boving. Deep, rich voice. I remember him doing CFMI's top 500 and mentioning Zeppelin playing Stairway to Heaven at a concert in Vancouver.
