Nick Carter on a Thursday afternoon in August 1984 on "Easy Listening" JC-55.

Daniel Earl and Rick Arnish joined Nick on location from the Kamloops Fair and Exhibition at the KXA grounds. 1080 CHED Edmonton original Larry "Hap" Thiessen updated the news. Bill O'Donovan reported on the sports.

Nick started his Canadian broadcasting career at 1260 CFRN in Edmonton in 1973 - https://edmontonbroadcasters.com/statio ... 0s-on-air/ His time in Edmonton included stops at 930 CJCA and 1110 CHQT (now 880).

Later Nick went to Kamloops for a holiday and decided he would like to live there and did so joining CFJC radio in 1979 and remaining at Broadcast Centre until his retirement in July 2020.
