Not to be confused with the radio newscaster of the same name, who spent many years on air in southern Alberta, here is Bob Brown on a late February afternoon in 1992 - ... ry-25-1992

Bob was among the early graduates of then Mount Royal College in Calgary's radio and television arts diploma program. He also was among the very early employees of Calgary's first FM station, CHFM.

Part-time operator/ news/ host weekly Jazz show CHFM-FM Calgary 1965-67; full-time evenings and later p.m. drive CHFM-FM 1967-69; mid-day host/ feature writer CHFM-FM 1971-74; Music Director/ fill-in host CKDA Victoria 1974-75; Music Director/ fill-in host CFAX Victoria 1975-80; original afternoon host/ Music Director/ writer-producer Old Gold program and two weekend shows CISL Richmond 1980-83; p.m. drive/ writer/ producer/ weekend host Swingin' On The Star and That's Entertainment CFSR-FM/ CKSR-FM Abbotsford/ Chilliwack 1986-97; traffic reporter CFSR-FM/ CKSR-FM and CKMA/ CHWK Abbotsford/ Chilliwack 1997-99; freelance 1999. Died December 8, 2014 in Chilliwack at age 70.
