TOM JEFFRIES has been a fixture in Vancouver radio for 30 plus years. You can hear him Saturday and Sunday mornings on CKNW. In 1984, he was handling PM Drive at CFUN.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

A shame Brian Lord isn't still around town. He was a funny guy.

The esteemed Mr. Lord is alive and well, and writing from the Filipino farm, he owns with his wife.

Brian is a major talent and was just hilarious.

Can I drop one story on Brian...?

Christmas Day, early 80's and Brian is sitting in doing news and running the board.....at CFUN, over at 1900 West Fourth.

Paul Ski and his girlfriend wake up and turn on CFUN Christmas morning, expecting to hear 'Deck the Halls'.

Not so much.

Brian decided "Third stone from the sun" by Jimi Hendrix was a great idea.

Paul.....decided otherwise.

Brian and Glen Walters, are the two most unforgettable characters I met over the years.

These kind of people are what made coming to work an adventure.
