From the RadioWest aircheck archives -

A Friday afternoon drive home show with RadioWest charter member Jack Casey on Valentine's Day 1992. Jack is joined by newscaster, David Palmer, on 14 C-FUN Vancouver playing "Favourites of Yesterday and Today" in AM Stereo.

Listening to Jack and Dave sure brings back many wonderful memories of that sweet sound found at 1410 playing Favourites of Yesterday and Today.

Somewhere in my office sits a Sony AM Stereo Radio in its original box I had installed in my Prelude.

It really worked well and without getting into a discussion as to why AM Stereo never took off, I enjoyed the sound while it lasted.

Thanks for sharing the audio clip.

Both are top notch talent and both worked here in Saskatchewan at one time. Jack at CJME Regina in the 70's and David in both Prince Albert and Saskatoon in the 60's.I've been a fan since the 70's and have some pretty cool tapes. Just wish they were still on the air.
