It's one of the Halls of broadcasting: Bob's son Jim. Bob along with Walter Grey founded Four Seasons Radio (Golden, Kelowna, Revelstoke and Salmon Arm).

Jim, about a year, before heading to Red Deer was hosting the afternoon show on Kelowna's 1150 CKIQ along with newscasters Tamara ("TJ") Joel and Dave Mills.

He joined 700 CKRD in 1989, to host the morning show with Casey Cunningham, and in 1996 succeeded Jeff Rechner as Radio 7's program director. Jim was part of the team to lead the transition as Radio 7 became 105.5 CHUB in 2000. He added program director duties for sister station, 106.7 CFDV upon its launch in 2004.

Jim retired from CHUB/CFDV in 2012.
