The late Pat Burns, in his own words, answers the question "Who is Pat Burns?" This is taken from a 1990 Broadcast Network Inc. (BNI) Demo tape.

In 1963, Burns launched his "Hotline" program at CJOR Vancouver later moving to CKGM Montreal before returning to CJOR in 1969. Where he remained until the end of CJOR in September 1988 - https://radiowest.ca/airchecks09.html
In 1989, the "Hotline" was heard on the CKO Radio Network until the network went off the air due to bankruptcy in November of that year.
In 1990/91, Pat was heard via satellite from a studio in downtown Vancouver's Century Plaza hotel. CKRW Whitehorse provided the satellite distribution, it and a station in the state of Missouri aired Pat's program.

Monarch's Magic 104 (CIMA AM 1040) in Vancouver picked up the program providing him with his final radio run in the city, extending an on air presence which dated back to 1070 CKLG in 1955. In October 1991, BNI went bankrupt and the show was cancelled.

Pat died on June 8, 1996.
