I don't feel qualified to opin on this question:
What was his greatest jingle package?

A regular on reelradio.com just added his answer: "The Sound of the City", which he feels may be the best jingle package anyone ever made.

The jingle lovers here must have their own opinions on the subject.

Sound Of The City was a great package, but I'd vote for the Johnny Mann Drake Jingles. They were he sound of Boss Radio, no matter what series.

Short, Simple and Totally Memorable.

I have the instrumental KHJ Drake jingle as the ringtone on my phone.

A note from Gerry O'Day about Johnny Mann ...

CISL had Johnny Mann jingles at one time - Jock accapellas and full jingles- i went down for the session in L.A. with Larry Sell- Johnny was a cool cat- the singers were exceptional- Johnny would record a track of 650 CISL, then have them sing it again and again to make it appear that 18 or 24 singers had down the shout or jingle. He also worked in the studio with the singers versus behind the glass in the booth. What a pro-

Cheers

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
