Thanks for the alert. Crow & West (and Robin & Maynard) were required listening for me. The combination of their personality radio and the KISW + KXRX playlists were perfect for me at the time.

That podcast features the "electric typewriter" episode of Leave it to Beaver, which is one of my faves. Fairly easy to get a good copy since it was included on the Epic Rock album from KISW in 1980. YouTube also has a dozen(?) episodes recovered from listener airchecks but not of the same quality.

According to my radio log, the 20th anniversary of the final Mike West show on KXRX will be May 27. Gary Crow had already left for KMTT but came back that day in 1994 to make it a Crow & West show; he was also doing his own show on KMTT at the same time!
