Well, that didn't take long: Bell and Sirius no more

Postby kal » Tue Nov 05, 2013 8:47 pm

According to Art Bell himself, there has been a parting of the ways between the veteran broadcaster and Sirius XM, effective this evening. Bell's return to the air was widely covered, including an extended piece in Time magazine.

I don't know this guy, but his website says a few things that seem extreme... his Fukishima claims, when you consider that a nuke plant in Washington state has been leaking heavy water for the past seven years. His pitch should be to convert these power plants to natural gas and stop the contamination, not promoting fears of the unknown.

If he does have an audience, it is better for downloading old shows, or to tune in live, via webserver. There are many more web browsers in use, than Sirius devices.

Wow. I didn't know Bell went to Sirius. Here i thought he was still on AM Radio reporting alien abductions and psychic prophecies. I wonder if he's still married to that Filipina mail order bride of his.
