Drew Snider out at Translink

Former CKNW newsman and long time Translink spokesperson Drew Snider is no longer employed by the agency. Snider was bounced from Translink last week. No word as yet on the reason for his
dismissal or if there was a severence package.

A job at translink is just that - a Job. there is no more career when i think of translink!
they probably booted the older highly talented guy in favor of a young bus drive school grad for 1/2 the money.

and no, I am not a disgruntled transit worker.

Snider was a great guy to work with and I think he was excellent at Hydro. It gets down to money now,and AGE in lot of these media jobs. Of course no one says that. They also can cut wages - and chances are the older worker will cost the company more in health payouts and insurance.

If you are in Media of any kind.....make sure you have a plan ‘b’.
