The Maritime Broadcasting System has applied to relocate the previously approved transmitter site for CKDY 99.7 in Digby, Nova Scotia to 53 Sydney Street from 859 Culloden Road in Digby. Power will decrease from 6,530 to 5,570 watts. Antenna height will be lowered from 165.7 to 24.5 metres (EHAAT). The antenna radiation pattern will remain directional. The station was licensed to flip from 1420 AM in May 2021 after vandals destroyed its transmitter site. but ran into a series of obstacles implementing those changes and has recently been operating under "temporary" authorization. This application will finalize the proposed changes.
