Radio Sticker Of The Day - June 7

Postby radiofan » Sat Jun 06, 2020 9:26 pm

Weekend Radio Sticker Of The Day ... Not a lot of current stickers available right now, so some oldies but goodies from stations that haven't changed their identity ...
If you work at a station or know of new stickers and have some to share, please pop me a note stickers@radiowest.ca and I'll send you a self addressed stamped envelope for stickers to feature here.

A 1982 sticker from Regina's Z 99 (CIZL 98.9). Z 99 is now Regina's #1 Hit Music Station.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

The sticker is actually 1982 when the station hit the air-- I got there in 85 when we transitioned to "The Heart of Rock and Roll" - I was PM drive PLUS co-anchoring the (remember foreground on FM?) the public affairs show On Target.

Thanks for the correction on the date Don. I thought it was from the early days, but no ads on the back with dates.
