Radio Sticker Of The Day - February 18

From the RadioWest.ca archives and my collection of 20,000+ window and bumper stickers from radio stations around the world, a daily look back featuring stickers from stations across Canada that no longer exist due to a call letter or frequency change, rebranding or a move from AM to FM.

A 1986 sticker from Vancouver's CFMI 101.1. The station had shifted from soft/eclectric rock to AOR and was going head to head with CFOX. The sticker was the same shape and just a little bit bigger than the current CFOX sticker so new listeners could slap it over the CFOX sticker on their ride. For the new format, CFMI acquired many staffers from CFOX including the Program Director.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
