Radio Sticker Of The Day - May 3

Postby radiofan » Thu May 02, 2019 8:35 pm

From the RadioWest.ca archives and my collection of 20,000+ window and bumper stickers from radio stations around the world, a daily look back featuring stickers from stations across Canada that no longer exist due to a call letter or frequency change, rebranding or a move from AM to FM.

A 1970's sticker from CHAT 1270 in Medicine Hat. In 2006 CHAT moved to 94.5 FM and retained it's Country format.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Now there is a new Font style that did not last long....

In retrospect, it combines the worst of hard to read and instant eye strain.

Yup, and sister station CKRD in Red Deer used a similar font but with more colours from the palette.
