Radio Sticker Of The Day - January 17

From the RadioWest.ca archives and my collection of 20,000+ window and bumper stickers from radio stations around the world, a daily look back featuring stickers from stations across Canada that no longer exist due to a call letter or frequency change, rebranding or a move from AM to FM.

CFCR started life as CKRD-FM in Red Deer, AB. In the late 1970's, the station moved from an EZ listening format to Countrty and the calls changed to CFCR. The Country format stayed until the late 1980s when Shaw bought the station and it became Zed 99 (CIZZ 98.9) with an album rock format. Zed is still rockin' today.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Thanks for sharing these! Radio stickers, logo coffee cups and jingles are an interest of mine.
