Great stuff! Interesting how both Hamilton & Winnipeg claimed to be Canada's 4th largest market back then. These days Winnipeg is #8 and Hamilton is #9 according to the 2006 census.

They were less ambitious back then. Today, the numbers are bent to show everyone is No. 1.

The book has this delightful little revelation about someone I'm sure anyone who's been around awhile will know:
