CFCW's move to 790 from 1230

I haven't forgotten Radiofan's research challenge -

29 July 1961 - The Board of Broadcast Governors announced that on 21 August 1961, a hearing would be held in Ottawa to review a number of applications including a request "[f]or a change in the day-time radiation pattern of Station CFCW, Camrose, Alta., by Camrose Broadcasting Company Limited, with the authorised power of 10,000 watts on the assigned frequency of 790 Kc/s, DA-2."

The hunt for the date of the actual sign-on at 790 continues. Stay tuned.
Faster cars, younger women, older cheese, more money . . .

Once again albertaboyforlife hits a homer!
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
