Stan Bailly, the former long-time co-host of the CIFM Morning Show, passed away on Saturday (Dec. 18), his wife Debbie announced on social media.

Bailly’s 31-year radio career began in Williams Lake in 1968. Originally from Kamloops, Bailly returned home in 1987 to work for CIFM. During his time at Broadcast Centre, Bailly was most known for co-hosting the morning show for 25 years with Henry “Hank” Small. Bailly retired from radio in 2018.

Doug Collins, former co-host with Bailly on the CIFM Morning Show, remembers Bailly as a first-class person who always made people smile, and always gave everything he had to his family, friends, and the people he worked with.

Bailly passed away at Royal Inland Hospital. He was 74 years old.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
