2019-06-20

Kelowna, June 20, 2019 – The Casey Clarke Show is about to take over the interior of British Columbia! On June 24, Stingray will proudly launch a new, live, regional morning show in Kelowna (New Country 100.7), Penticton, Keremeos (New Country 98.9), Princeton (New Country 98.1), and Kamloops (New Country 103.1).

The Casey Clarke Show is interactive, topical, family-friendly, memorable, and emotion evoking. It’s number one for family fun! Casey Clarke has become a household name to anyone who loves country music. He has been on television and radio for well over two decades spending the last 6 years in Kelowna. Joining Casey as his co-host will be Dana Thompson - an east coast girl who will no doubt bring an energy, likeability, and relatability to the show that listeners will instantly connect with. BC native, Marissa Lyons will also be joining the show every morning from Kamloops.

The show will cover regional content every morning, augmented by local news, traffic, and community information from each market. We are very excited to bring this fantastic show to all of interior BC every morning!

The New Country Regional - Casey Clarke Show launches in Kelowna, Penticton, Keremeos, Princeton, and Kamloops June 24, 2019 on New Country 100.7 in the Okanagan and New Country 103.1 in the Thompson Valley.

So nice to see that Stingray is carrying on the Newcap slash and burn method of radio.

How much local programming will there be left on New Country 103 in Kamloops with this move? Sister station NL 610 is down to about 8 hours a day which is totally ridiculous for a market the size of Kamloops.

I guess the next move will be to make K 97 another Stingray jukebox.

It's a sad state of affairs.

I thought he was a nationally syndicated radio show based in Penticton? Isn't this just adding a NewCap market, or did he used to be nationally syndicated and then took a step down to being a small-ish market morning radio host?

Confused.

Cheers,
