From this morning's Broadcast Dialogue:

Mark Jeffries (Theobald) has retired after almost 40 years in radio, half of that at EZ Rock (CILK-FM) Kelowna. Originally from North Vancouver, Jeffries spent his earlier career at CKLG-FM Vancouver, in addition to a stint in Terrace. Gerry O’Day will join EZ Rock on afternoon drive, plus network mid-days across the EZ Rock BC affiliates. O’Day formerly wore the hats of morning host, program director, and music director at 650 CISL-AM Vancouver.

Dominik Diamond & Donnie Richard are no longer with JACK FM (CJAQ-FM) Calgary. They had been co-hosting the morning show since 2015.

Mark Burley, former group program director for Bell Media in the B.C. Interior, is the Downtown Kelowna Association’s new executive director. Burley was with Bell Media for 12 years, up until Jan. 2017, overseeing programming for 22 stations. Most recently, he’d been working part-time at Okanagan Oldies 103.9 (CKOO-FM) Kelowna.
