Ditto for City and 660 News in Calgary. But no such combination in Toronto.

I'd love to see the media outlets leverage their AM stations to create 24-hour hyper-local, with national and business stories of courses, news outlets on the cheap. Integrate a live video feed (single- or multi-camera, but preferably multi-camera), news ticker, business ticker, and rotating weather forecast, sports scores, and traffic cams (live, not stills) into the on-screen display. Radio broadcasters are appealing to listen to, but I'd like to be able to see and their studios are nice enough for on-screen viewing, not mention News1130's "sexy" green microphones. :)

Cheers,
Doug
