If one watches the World Junior Hockey Championships, you will note that advertising is closing in on that tournament. Sweden with advertising on the helmets.
The Spangler Cup, if you dare watch that at all, has advertising all over their jerseys and helmets, and NO room for their names. Just their numbers.
Is this what we can expect in the NHL?
Believe me, it takes it away from the game.
The IIHF which governs the Junior chambionships, says they leave it up to each Country on whether to have advertising or not.
Hope to hell Canada remains like they are, good, fast, and winning and NO advertising.

That would be a real disservice to the Asian teams.
